This time we are talking about Chrome Diopside. Chrome Diopside is a deep green color gemstone. Due to Chromium, its color is so deep. This is why it is also known as Chromium Diopside. The first ever Chrome Diopside, was found in Siberia in 1988 and after that it was also found in Pakistan. These two countries are the main suppliers of this gemstone in commercial quantity & quality. Chrome Diopside is a transparent gemstone and bigger size gemstones than 10 mm are really difficult to find out. The hardness of this gemstone is 5 to 6, so it is very soft. Hence it is very difficult to in any shape or size. Smaller sizes are even more difficult to cut and set.
